THE STORY. Yes you can get ones that does the same job, but none of them quite 'did it' for us and wasn't necessarily complementary to the space. We wanted something simple. Very simple. Like an upside down L. Originally envisaged as a simple metal angle (as small as we could get away with) with the two parts of the L mitred and welded together, a trip to the nearest general builders store is to blame for the final design. Wanting to do an initial prototype, without a metal saw or welding machine, the hunt was on for something in wood. We had a mitre block, glue and some screws. Amongst all the shelves, tools, PAR's and 2x2's , the Scotia bead presented itself. The protype became final design.
